Miranda Baker
President & Founder · Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
Miranda Baker founded Graceful Journey Mortuary Solutions with a simple conviction: the people who care for grieving families deserve someone who cares for them, too. A licensed funeral director, licensed embalmer, and graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Miranda came to funeral service from the legal industry — bringing a sharp eye for detail, documentation, and accountability that shapes everything from our chain-of-custody system to the way we represent your firm's standards. She also serves her community as a Madison County Reserve Deputy Coroner, giving her firsthand insight into the coroner-side coordination that funeral homes depend on.
As the leader of a proud woman-owned business, Miranda is an active supporter of women in the funeral industry, working to expand and grow their presence and impact. She also mentors students and new graduates, helping the next generation of funeral professionals establish themselves in the industry.
